With just about less than 4 hours on the clock for Chaos Legion official launch, it is going to be an epic year end for Splinterlands and Hive blockchain as a whole.
In the midst of waiting for the hour to past, I am guessing all Splinters are already buying a lot of SPS to stake in preparation for the 2nd phase of Vouchers airdrop and I am also guessing that many are converting to get Credits as purchases of the new packs are also eligible using Credits. While there is no more 10% discount for purchasing the set using SPS, I am going to anticipate that this 2nd sale will be a success as such during the successful 1st pre-sale event.
I think that many opt to get SPS rather than Voucher largely because of the Voucher airdrop. While that seems to be a good move, I am just going to throw a question and that is, are you not going to buy Voucher at all?
While that seems sound like a dumb question, probably you might want to think about it again and here's why.
As mentioned, Vouchers are still required to make Chaos Legion set purchases and of course, Vouchers can be obtained from the airdrop. That's a no brainer and staking SPS is still a much logical thing to do.
This one is pretty straight-forward. The more you have staked, the more Vouchers you will get. And remember, aside from Vouchers, you will also be eligible for SPS airdrop. How cool is that? Two rewards at the price of one.
Another good reason now is that the SPS price has drop a bit making it more reasonable to get more and stake.
As announced by Splinterlands, Voucher is going to be currency that will be useful in the future. No detailed desciption yet but it will come. However, Voucher airdrop will also be continued and I think that again will also be a good reason to stake more SPS.
Looking at the Hive price at the moment, probably is still a good time. Hive is still at a good price range to get more other tokens im Hive-Engine. In fact, not only SPS but Leo too.
