Bitcoin V.S. Monero
Bitcoin has been long thought to be total security against Big BROTHER A.K.A. Government but due to agencies like the IRS in the USA, they are finding ways to use the address paths to track it and eventually trace it back to it's originating source and destination. This is not to say they know about all transactions or that you should stop using bit-coin but it is not the long thought privacy protection against groups such groups.
A Better Way
Lucky for us all there is a better way and that is called Monero.
Monero is NOT based on bitcoin like many others. Monero is based on cryptonote. It is this that has given Monero some unique properties that allow those who value their privacy to be able to maintain it. Transactions with Monero are unlinkable and secondly transactions are untraceable so that means all transactions are safe in terms of anyone being able to look at the blookchain and being able to figure out where they went.
Your incoming transactions have many possible senders and each of those possible senders have the same chance of being the true sender. The Monero blockchain dose not allow the looking up of balances or history based on people's addresses. At most you can use the transaction id of the payment to see a sort of proof that a payment did take place but even then the blockchain will not tell you what address for the transaction was the address of the sender or receiver. Certainly this level of security and privacy will make it impossible for any tracking of any funds you may or may not have. With Monero continuing to be developed, it is my opinion it is methods of value transfer like Monero that are the future of transferring wealth and still being able to maintain your privacy.
