CyberFM is a US-based Radio, broadcasting online through its multiple channels. This broadcasting platform was founded in October 2007 and has stood the test of time with a good reputation in the entertainment industry.
CyberFM provides its listeners with unique and impeccable content from a variety of music, most of which aren’t normally available on the mainstream radio. CyberFM is currently working on a new project with MFTU, (Main-stream for the Underground, which will see artists and listeners get rewarded with loyalty tokens for every song they listen to.
The system uses an encrypted distributed ledger, which is more of a blockchain model to handle the payments. Since it is operating on a global blockchain market, the project uses a dual-token ecosystem that involves the MFTU and the CYFM tokens.
The two tokens are built on the Ethereum (ETH), the blockchain, meaning it can be used to create a common payment system where royalties can be collected and paid globally.
In a nutshell, the CyberFM token, CYFM; represents a restrictive acquiescent crypto for artists who are currently registered in their home states/countries. The same token will be used for paying the government regulatory agencies globally and this means the CYFM tokens aren’t totally decentralized since it will have to conform to the regulatory requirement in various countries.
The MFTU token, on the other hand, is architecturally decentralized to represent a truly globally accepted, legal, fair and transparent mode of payment. Artists can register with the MFTU tokens and have their music played on the CyberFM where they earn royalties through MFTU tokens. That said, listeners can use either of the tokens for purchase in stores and song downloads and even for tipping. The latter is paid directly to the artist and separately from the regular MFTU royalties.
With the CyberFM project, listeners enjoy 5 channels each with a specific music genre, all free and direct to be heard. Radio Rock, Xtreme Free4All, and The Cross are some of the channels where noble and dignified music is broadcast free of charge. The tokens discussed above, are to be distributed to listeners and participants.
This type of system creates an all-inclusive payment method that encourages and boost artists from all across the globe for their creativity. It also ensures that the greatest threat of value gap is permanently eliminated for a better future-sustainability in the music industry.
The system is one the few celebrated projects that’s established a record of looping in some independent music to fans while promoting artists though user outreach.
