he was/is the Co Founder and head guy here for a long time. And hadn't heard or seen him in ages.
To be honest...
he seemed to be not extremely focused. That's just a personal observation and opinion. I mean, my gosh, during his video calls the guy would strum his acoustic guitar while trying to answer questions from other Steemians. Just not very professional and hard to take serious !
I think he was wise...
in kind of handing over the reigns and operations of Steemit to people who really seemed very motivated to make this whole thing work. So in that regards I do have respect for him to know when to let go .
I think his intentions were altruistic and genuine...
But some people are cut out for this and some are not. Hope to see him around more, though. He did have a certain air about him that made him "relatable" ( in a weird way that I cannot quite put my finger on lol).
Conclusion...
I think the people we have in place running Steemit are pretty damn sharp. From what I've seen, they seem very capable and experienced in running a gig like this. Look forward to bright days ahead !!
