Today I painted 6 small and quick Sorolla studies on canvas board, keeping them less than an hour each for oil painting practice. It seems like I can鈥檛 go long without painting traditionally.
Joaquin Sorolla was a Spanish master painter of colour and light, with a focus on figure painting. He鈥檚 currently in my top 10 favourite artist list.
I recorded the process, so I鈥檒l be making a time-lapse video of them on my Youtube over the next couple of days.
