I've been writing about RUNE a ton lately, and that is because I have just recently been trying out the apps on their ecosystem and have just been really happy with what I've seen.
Last night, I used the Thorswap app for the first time and am just in love with their staking and liquidity platform.
What sets Thorswap apart from other liquidity farming services is that you are able to provide single asset collateral and don't need to invest in symmetrical pairs of tokens. If you want to just invest Bitcoin and get the liquidity returns for that you can, if you want to just invest RUNE you can do that and so on.
The reason that I find this aspect of the app to be so compelling is that you no longer have to stack up an equivalent amount of tokens by either waiting and saving or selling half of one asset to invest symmetrically. I think that an innovation like this can be likened to how apps like Robinhood are allowing users to buy fractional shares of stock rather than needing to buy the whole share. Single asset liquidity pooling is allowing for more people to get involved if they want to.
I think that a ton of work has gone into the interface for the protocol and I just have a great vibe about all of it.
Here is a look at the home screen of the site:
Here is what it looks like providing liquidity whether symmetrical or asymmetrical:
I recommend doing your own research before investing, but also highly recommend getting involved with thorswap.finance at some point in the near future if you are able!
