With all of the excitement going on around the increasing price of Hive and subsequently the expected increase in popularity, it begs the question: where do we want to go with this?
I'm not someone who has historically been too successful with sticking to the plan, but I am looking to change that with Hive. I have written in the past about how the 13 week powerdown is a bit of a hassle, but I have honestly come around to believe that it is a saving grace for me.
Being unable to liquidate and sell right away forces you to reconsider your options and plan out what you'd like to do in advance. I think that for me, this has been a gift in terms of maintaining value in my portfolio.
So... Looking very far in advance, what do you want your Hive portfolio to look like?
For me, I have no set goals of accumulating engine tokens at this time, but will continue to stake any Leo, POB, and probably BEE that I am able to acquire from my posts.
When it comes to Hive, I want to be able to say that I stacked at least 5,000 Hive each year; with the bulk of that coming from earnings on posts.
If I am able to do that for the next five years, I will be sitting on 25,000 Hive... Something that is already worth well over 50k... Imagine in 5 years what prices may look like.
I think that it is certainly possible to make this much Hive from posting daily and engaging daily with comments. You would need to average around 14 Hive per post in rewards, but this number does not include the 3% APR or any rewards earned through curating and passive income.
There are a lot of ways to earn Hive, the only wrong way to do it is to not do it...
