I like postcards, even if they are considered old, even if they are no longer in fashion. I like to receive them, even if it happens more and more rarely, and I like to send them, like sending a kiss from afar. When I was little I wanted to make postcards: I thought that my photographs could be sold as postcards and that whoever chose them would feel the same emotions as when I had taken them.

Mi piacciano le cartoline, anche se sono considerate vecchie, anche se non sono più di moda. Mi piace riceverle, anche se succede sempre più di rado, e mi piace spedirle, come mandare un bacio da lontano. Quando ero piccola volevo fare cartoline: pensavo che le mie fotografie potessero essere vendute come cartoline e che chi le sceglieva avrebbe provato le stesse emozioni di quando le avevo scattate.
