The weekend came and we did not know what to do. The kiddo is always bubbly and active. He always runs around the house asking me to be his play buddy. Mom is busy with her books and research and that leaves me. I am his dad, play buddy, toy and sponge. Having a nuclear family is bliss but it feels lonely sometimes. You need friends and relatives in your life. The social network is luxury when you move from one place to another. It is not easy to create the social network you once were part of when you move to a new place. The perks and pains of immigration.
Well, I had to come up with ideas on how to keep the kid busy this Saturday and Sunday. The weather in Toronto was on the brighter side. By brighter I mean the temperature was not cruel and the wind was mild. We have not had a sunny day for almost a week now. It is doomy and gloomy most of the times with drizzles of rain interjecting here and there.
We went to a lakeshore again. He loves to play with pebbles. I took a risk to bring him to the waterfront eventhough the temprature was dropping and the forecast said it would snow soon. Look at him enjoy the lakeshore session. He enjoys it so much I don't remember him say "daddy, let's go home. I am done here." He always likes to stay longer. Good for his health. I am all for outdoors when the temprature is nice and when we have favorable weather.
The snow finally arrived and we had this amazingly beautiful snowfall. The snowfall of the season. I uploaded a few of those snowfall photos here as well.
