Much has been said by the SteemFest attendees about the Bangkok taxi boats. Everybody seems to have enjoyed the experience! I liked it a lot. It's an easy way to move throughout the city. The metro is also fine but there's nothing like these boats. They're not brand new or comfortable and they're definitely noisy but it's great to feel the city and culture by experiencing the local routines. Using boats to get from one place to another is common in Bangkok. I used them to get to SteemFest venues and also during my first days in the city when I was visiting temple after temple after temple.
