SteemFest 4: SteemPress

SteemPress has be around for a while. According to their website, SteemPress is a:
"A WordPress plugin to power your website with blockchain technology."

Or as I put it, it's the perfect way to link your existing blog to the Steem blockchain and monetize your content.

I don't have a blog so I'm not an actual user but I've tried to spread the word, mainly after SF3. A friend of mine was interested but the blog was shared with other people and he though it would be hard to bring everyone together. But he joined steemit, so it was a partial success.

This year Hive account@fredrikaa didn't make it to Bangkok but he prepared a video for us. It was nice of him.

No worries, because Hive account@howo was there to deliver a talk about SteemPress. It was nice to have an update and know everything is working. I mean, like most of Steem based projects, it could be doing better but the foundations are there and everything seems to be prepared for more adoption.

I think it's an obvious tool for wordpress bloggers to use. It's getting better with time and will continue to improve. Mass adoption will bring new challenges but the team is competent and motivated.

For the rest of us, it would be great if we could spread the word more because there are many many bloggers clueless about this tool and missing out an opportunity.
