Although I write little, tonight I want to highlight this book that I find extremely interesting called Heridas Emocionales (Emotional Wounds) by the Argentine writer Bernardo Stamateas, it is worth mentioning that Mr. Stamateas is a doctor in psychology and clinical sexologist, apart from other facets, but as a person I will not talk about him in this post just to keep him in mind.

His goal is to help people heal their emotional wounds and achieve a full and happy life.

The author begins by explaining that we all have emotional wounds, which are the product of painful experiences in our childhood or in our adult life. These wounds affect the way we see the world, our relationships and our self-esteem. Stamateas argues that, in order to heal these wounds, it is necessary to recognize them and work on them.

The book is divided into five main parts. In the first part, Stamateas explains what emotional wounds are and how they can affect our lives, which in today's society is a daily reality. He also states that there are different types of wounds, such as the wound of rejection, the wound of betrayal, the wound of humiliation, to name a few. Each type of wound originates from specific experiences that we must identify and deal with in the right way so that they do not affect us.

In the second part of the book, Stamateas points out tools to work on our emotional wounds. He proposes practical exercises, relaxation techniques and different strategies to learn to forgive, let go of the past and rebuild our self-esteem. He also offers tips to establish healthy boundaries in our relationships and learn to communicate assertively, which is extremely important but in my opinion young people are mostly immersed in technology and mobile devices and give little importance to this.

In the third part, the theme of love and relationships is developed. He explains that many times we seek relationships that repeat patterns and wounds of the past, being relapsed in it, which paradoxically is like tripping over the same stone on the same road. So it is inevitable to reflect on our patterns of behavior and change those that do not do us good. It also gives advice on how to maintain healthy relationships and build a couple relationship based on respect, solidarity of both parties as the man and the woman.

In the fourth part of the book, he covers the importance of healing our emotional wounds in order to live a full and happy life. He states in a very precise way that it is necessary to learn how to rebuild ourselves, to promote self-care and to seek our own wellbeing. In addition, he emphasizes the importance of surrounding ourselves with positive people and stay away from those who hurt us, who only say so-and-so told me so-and-so told me, that kind of person does not collaborate to make our environment more pleasant.

Finally, in the fifth part, the author names examples and real cases of people who have healed their emotional wounds and have achieved a full life. These cases are inspiring because they show that people have gone through the same thing and have managed to move forward.

In my personal opinion, I don't want to sound arrogant or the owner of the absolute truth, the book "Heridas Emocionales" by Bernardo Stamateas is a work that to read it we have to place ourselves in the context of what the author says and feel as if we were the protagonist, so we can heal our emotional wounds, all the hate or resentment we ever felt for someone, leave it aside and move forward in my humble opinion, I don't know what you think of this work of Mr. Stamateas? I would like to know my dear friends?.
