Por aquí seguimos con un clima delicioso, así que nos despertamos de muy buen humor y con ganitas de crear algo lindo, así que realicé un brazalete precioso, muy elegante y súper combinable, para ocasiones especiales y la verdad es que es mut sencillo de hacer y, por supuesto, tenía que compartirlo con ustedes en mi blog.
Hello everyone, happy day and happy start to the week! The weather’s still lovely here, so we woke up in a great mood and raring to create something pretty. I’ve made a gorgeous, very elegant bracelet that goes with just about anything – perfect for special occasions. It’s actually really simple to make, and of course I had to share it with you on my blog.
Como saben me gustan los accesorios sencillos, y aunque mi idea era crear una pieza elegante, no quise perder mi estilo y mantenerlo lo más simple posible y para esto decide utilizar un aro dorado grande junto con una bola de fuego y cadenas delgadas, de hecho esto es lo unico que utilicé para este brazalete, pero miren qué cosa tan bella y tan delicada el resultado. Y si más vueltas, vamos con los materiales y el paso a paso.
As you know, I like simple accessories, and although my idea was to create an elegant piece, I didn’t want to stray from my style and wanted to keep it as simple as possible. So I decided to use a large gold hoop combined with a fireball and thin chains; in fact, that’s all I used for this bracelet, but just look at what a beautiful and delicate result it is. Without further ado, let’s get on with the materials and the step-by-step guide.

Paso a paso/Step by step
Como ven son muy pocos materiales, y básicamente solo tenemos que armar una pieza, que sería nuestra bola de fuego, y esto lo haremos utilizando un alfiler de ojo, y lo que hacemos, pues es muy simple, pasamos nuestra bola de fuego por el alfiler cortamos el excedente y cerramos como ya lo hemos aprendido en el blog.
Simplemente colocamos la pinza redonda en el extremo del alfiler y giramos sobre sí misma hacia adentro para crear nuestro aro. De esta manera ya tenemos lista una de las dos piezas que forman la pieza focal del brazalete.
As you can see, there are very few materials, and we basically just need to assemble one piece – our fireball – using an eye pin. It’s very simple: we thread the fireball onto the pin, cut off the excess, and close it as we’ve already learnt on the blog.
We simply place the round clasp on the end of the pin and twist it inwards to create our ring. And there we have it: one of the two pieces that make up the central element of the bracelet is now ready.
Lo que sigue es conectar la bola de fuego a nuestro aro grande, que como ven no es una simple forma redonda, sino que es ondulada dándole un poco más de vistosidad y movimiento a la pieza, y lo unico que tenemos que hacer es abrir un poco uno de los ojitos a los extremos de la bola de fuego y hacer pasar la argolla. Cerramos y tenemos lista la pieza focal de nuestro brazalete.
Next, we need to attach the fireball to our large ring, which, as you can see, isn’t just a simple round shape but is wavy, giving the piece a bit more visual interest and movement. All we have to do is open one of the small loops at either end of the fireball slightly and thread the ring through. We close it up, and the centrepiece of our bracelet is ready.
El siguiente paso es cortar las cadenas que vamos a utilizar, y el largo como siempre les digo va a depender de cuán largo desean su brazalete, así que necesitamos dos piezas, una para cada extremo de nuestra pieza focal.
The next step is to cut the chains we’re going to use; as I always say, the length will depend on how long you want your bracelet to be, so we need two pieces, one for each end of our centrepiece.
Seguidamente vamos a conectar las cadenas a cada extremo de la pieza central, y del lado de la bola de fuego simplemente abrimos el aro que nos queda disponible, hacemos pasar la cadena, cerramos y sellamos con la pinza plana para asegurar que cierre completamente.
Del otro lado donde se encuentra la argolla lo que vamos a hacer es colocar una argolla pequeña, así que la abrimos un poco y por ella hacemos pasar nuestra argolla grande además de la cadena, cerramos y tenemos de esta forma listo el largo de nuestro brazalete.
Next, we’ll attach the chains to each end of the centre piece. On the side with the fireball, simply open the remaining ring, thread the chain through, close it and secure it with the flat-nose pliers to ensure it closes completely.
On the other side, where the ring is, we’re going to attach a small ring, so we’ll open it slightly and thread our large ring through it along with the chain, close it, and in this way we’ll have the length of our bracelet ready.
Para finalizar, debemos agregar las piezas que nos permiten cerrar nuestra pulsera, y para ello en ambos extremos vamos a colocar 2 argollas pequeñas y en uno vamos a colocar el cerrador junto con el pequeño dije que pueden ver en la imagen que me parece que le da un toque muy lindo al brazalete.
Para colocar estas piezas lo único que tenemos que hacer es abrir la agolla que colocamos en uno de los extremos, y hace pasae el cerrador nuestro dije, cerramos y aseguramos con la pinza plana y listo, tenemos un hermoso brazalete para lucir en ocasiones especiales.
Finally, we need to add the parts that allow us to fasten our bracelet. To do this, we’ll attach two small rings to each end, and on one end we’ll attach the clasp along with the small charm you can see in the picture – I think it adds a lovely touch to the bracelet.
To attach these pieces, all we need to do is open the jump ring we placed at one end, thread the clasp and our charm through it, close it and secure it with the flat-nose pliers, and there you have it – a beautiful bracelet to wear on special occasions.
Como pueden ver es un proyecto absolutamente sencillo y lo mejor de todo es que los pueden crear según su gusto, yo simplemente les dejo la idea, así que si a ustedes le gustan los accesorios con más volumen, pues utilicen una cadena más gruesa y piezas más llamativas, ya que esto es cuestión de gustos. La idea es crear algo que se adapte perfectamente a tí.
As you can see, it’s a really simple project, and best of all, you can tailor it to your own taste. I’m just giving you the basic idea, so if you prefer more statement pieces, go for a thicker chain and more eye-catching components – it’s all down to personal preference. The idea is to create something that suits you perfectly.
