Hello chicos, qué tal están hoy? Por aquí estos días han sido de muchas salidas a hacer un montón de cosas que teníamos pendientes, ya que como saben el carro estaba parado esperando resolver algunas cositas, y además mi esposo estaba de viaje, y una vez llegó comenzamos a resolver todos los pendientes que se fueron acumulando, y como mis chicos están de vacaciones podemos salir un poco más, y por supuesto debo ponerlos al día de todo lo que he estado haciendo (aparte de cocinar), así que comencemos con una salida que tenía pendiente hace rato al C.C. La Vela, para conocer los nuevos niveles que habilitaron, pero les cuento que hicimos de todo menos eso!
Pasa que en La Vela hay tanto que ver que nos distrajimos un montón caminando, viendo tiendas y comprando algunas cositas para los chicos y para nosotros, hasta que nuestro cuerpo pidió comida. Así que nos fuimos hasta la feria donde se encuentra la gran mayoría de los locales, y por cierto pudimos ver que hay un montón de nuevas opciones para escoger, pero la verdad es que ya nosotros tenemos nuestro lugar favorito allí, y se trata de Bonsai, el mejor lugar para comer sushi en la isla, así que después de mirar los locales nuevos fuimos hasta allá para hacer nuestro pedido.
En esta oportunidad decidimos ordenar una promoción que traía diferentes tipos de roles en una presentación súper linda, y adicional a eso pedimos otro plato que nos llamó la atención porque es nuevo en el menú (Tesla) y por suerte resultó ser delicioso como todos los roles que pudimos disfrutar ese día, y es que Bonsai nunca decepciona, pero fue justo ahí cuando el plan inicial quedó en el olvido, ya que después de comer, el cuerpo nos pidió ir a casita, y es que habíamos caminado tanto que estábamos agotados, y luego de semejante comilona solo queríamos descansar, así que dimos un paseo rápido para ver el área del cine (a medias), y decidimos ir otro día. Eso sí, ese día iremos directo a ella sin mirar hacia los lados 🤣
Pero si les soy sincera, no me puedo quejar, porque aunque el plan inicial no se cumplió el cambio de planes resultó mucho mejor.
Hi, guys, how are you today? Around here, these past few days have been filled with lots of outings to take care of a bunch of things we’d been putting off, since, as you know, the car was out of commission while we waited to fix a few things, and my husband was also away on a trip. Once he got back, we started tackling all the pending tasks that had piled up, and since my kids are on vacation, we can get out a little more, and of course I have to catch you up on everything I’ve been doing (besides cooking), so let’s start with a trip I’d been meaning to take for a while to La Vela Mall, to check out the new floors they’ve opened—but I’ll tell you, we did everything except that!
The thing is, there’s so much to see at La Vela that we got totally distracted walking around, checking out stores, and buying a few little things for the kids and for ourselves, until we were ready for a meal. So we headed over to the food court where most of the restaurants are located, and by the way, we noticed there are tons of new options to choose from, but the truth is we already have our favorite spot there—Bonsai, the best place to eat sushi on the island. So after checking out the new places, we went there to place our order.
This time, we decided to order a special that featured different kinds of rolls in a really cute presentation, and on top of that, we ordered another dish that caught our eye because it’s new on the menu (Tesla)—and luckily, it turned out to be delicious, just like all the rolls we got to enjoy that day, and the thing is, Bonsai never disappoints. But that’s exactly when our original plan went out the window—after eating, our bodies just wanted to head home. We’d walked so much that we were exhausted, and after such a huge meal, all we wanted to do was rest. So we took a quick stroll to check out the movie theater area (sort of), and decided to go another day. Of course, next time we’ll head straight there without getting distracted 🤣
But to be honest, I can’t complain, because even though the original plan didn’t work out, the change of plans turned out to be much better.
