Hello gente, cómo está todo? Por aquí mentalizandome que el lunes los chicos regresan a clases con todo lo que implica la vuelta a clases, por lo que el fin de semana es para organizar todo, pero de esto no es lo que les vengo a hablar hoy, sino de un post que les tenía pendiente. Se trata del cierre de la Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones que se estuvo realizando el domingo 23 de Agosto, después de 5 días llenos de actividades y diversión para los niños.
Este cierre se realizó durante el servicio congregacional del domingo, y la idea del mismo es que tanto los miembros de la iglesia como los papás de los niños que asistieron a la EBV pudieran ver todo lo que los chicos habían hecho y aprendido durante la semana, así que los maestros preparamos una pequeña exposición con las manualidades de los chicos, además cada grupo se encargó de pasar al frente y explicar todo lo que aprendieron.
Se hizo un recuento de las actividades diarias, del lema de la EBV y por su puesto las niñas de las danzas presentaron todas las coreografías relacionadas con la temática de este año, y ese día lucían especialmente bellas al igual que la ambientación súper brillante, pero la mejor parte para los chicos fue el compartir que se preparó para ellos donde se realizaron juegos, se entregaron cotillones, disfrutaron de deliciosas meriendas y recibieron premios muy lindos por sus diferentes logros durante la semana.
Para los maestros fue una mañana muy agotadora, pero sin dudas muy pero muy feliz al ver todo lo que aprendieron e hicieron los niños durante la semana, sin hablar de todos los besos abrazos y palabras lindas que recibimos de nuestros niños, y particularmente fui bendecida con un grupo pequeño y taaan bien portados que hicieron que mi regreso a la EBV fuese súper especial. Y de esa forma cerramos la EBV 2026 y estamos listos para la EBV 2027.
Hello, everyone, how’s it going? Over here, I’m getting myself mentally prepared for the kids going back to school on Monday—with everything that comes with it—so I’m spending the weekend getting everything organized. But that’s not what I’m here to talk to you about today; instead, I want to share a post I’ve been meaning to write. It’s about the closing ceremony for Vacation Bible School, which took place on Sunday, August 23, after five days full of activities and fun for the kids.
This closing ceremony took place during the Sunday congregational service, and the idea was for both church members and the parents of the children who attended VBS to see everything the kids had done and learned during the week. So, the teachers put together a small display of the kids’ crafts, and each group took turns coming to the front to explain everything they’d learned.
We reviewed the daily activities and the Sunday School theme, and of course, the girls from the dance group performed all the choreographed routines related to this year’s theme. and that day they looked especially beautiful, as did the dazzling decorations. But the best part for the children was the celebration organized just for them, where they played games, received party favors, enjoyed delicious snacks, and were given lovely prizes for their various achievements throughout the week.
For the teachers, it was a very exhausting morning, but undoubtedly a very, very happy one as we saw everything the children had learned and accomplished during the week—not to mention all the kisses, hugs, and kind words we received from our children. I was particularly blessed with a small group of such well-behaved children who made my return to EBV extra special. And just like that, we wrapped up EBV 2026 and are ready for EBV 2027.
