Akeneo is a French company created in 2013 in Nantes by a Franco-American team and based in Nantes, Boston and Düsseldorf. Akeneo is specialized in open source product information management, also known as PIM. Akeneo develops the software Akeneo PIM. Available under the open source license 3.0 the first public beta of Akeneo PIM was released in September 2013.
