"In life, there's no gift as overlooked or inevitable as failure" - David Goggins
Everyone fails in life, EVERYONE! How many get back up though?
We think some people are lucky, they have it good, and somehow, everything just goes their way. But, sometimes even getting lucky requires a fair bit of work and repetition. As you try again, and again, and again, one day you will get your big break, or as they say "get lucky".
I don't know what true success tastes like, not yet at least, but I've tasted failure though; I've tasted it so many times that now it doesn't even taste that bad.
I've always scoured my surroundings for a glimpse of success. Of late, I've learned to accept my failures. I seek knowledge every day, and I strive for progress.

I've been "working" from the age of 12, because I like working and I like making money.
I always had a gig of my own, mostly flipping stuff for quick cash. But back then whether I make money or not, I would still have a roof over my head, a proper 3 meals a day, and my education was taken care of; security was never an issue.
Yet, I still worked, made some money, wasted most of it, and then I went ahead and made some more.
For almost a decade I've flipped stuff, mostly gadgets. During my late teens I started working for multiple start-ups, helped in developing businesses; thanks to my vast network and connections, all these opportunities came my way.
Alas, after countless tries and failures, my father gave me a proposal, to join the family business. And then, in 2019 I finally decided to join our family business, alongside my father. Our little journey and business endeavors from 2019 to 2020 was quite bright and encouraging; my start was going quite well.
However, at the end of 2020, things slowly started to fall apart.
Th business was down all of a sudden, our local investments were all stuck, some losses here and there, and a few scams too. From making a bit of progress, to being knee deep in debt, life took a full on U-turn; spiraling totally out of our control.
Yet, that wasn't the end of it all. During 2021 things just got worse, it was the start of a hard-hearted, unsympathetic experience.
It was exactly what Shakespeare said...
"When sorrows come, they come not single spies but in battalions."
Bills had piled up, investment partners wanted their money back, and soon after our 30 year old office had to be closed down. People were barging into our house asking for their money, or to collect the bills. A proper 3 meals a day wasn't on the menu anymore, both my younger brother's studies and education had to be put on hold.
During the early phase of 2022 we just had to sell off some of our assets, to pay off a lot of debts, and to finance my siblings so that they could continue with their education.
All of my own savings were gone by 2022, even though the amount wasn't much; however, it was a lot of money for me back then. I sold many of my belongings during that time, things that I've collected and cared for over the years, most of which were related to my hobbies.
Those 2 years taught us a lot, and my family and I had never experienced anything like those two years.
However, as 2023 rapidly comes to an end, things seem to be on the greener side for now.
Business is back on track again, we're making some progress at least. We've payed off at least 50% of our debts, both my brothers are now studying without any interruptions. The bills are taken care of as well.
As many of you know, I have been keeping myself busy. Working tirelessly and handling one project to another, just so that my family never has to face anything like those horrendous sights and experiences of 2021/2022.
Right now I just need to work. The plan is to completely change things up for the better. And in the next 3 to 5 years I'll only be focusing on security, nothing else matters.
The harder I work and more I sacrifice now, the sooner I see my goals and dreams transform from imagination to reality.
