PIZZA, who doesn't love pizza? Even though I myself am capable of devouring a 12 inch pizza, I sometimes choose not to. YET, sometimes, I do let go, ABSOLUTELY no holding back. Gotta live a little you know, maybe gain a bit of weight in the process, I don't mind it, not at all. And this certain day I'm talking about right now, that day I surely did let go.
I knew I'll quite easily get rid of those "temporary" flappy love handles and a few kgs when the time comes. Done it already quite a few times so far, no biggie. Also, it's probably been more than a year since I've last had pizza. THUS, you all probably know how it's all gonna go down.
Lazy Baker's, a new pizza place in Uttara Sector 14, owned by a very dear friend of mine. It's been a year that he's been in the business. Yet, times have been tough, because of random lockdowns the business couldn't make much progress throughout 2021. The good part is that he surely hasn't given up and 2022 is looking quite good so far.
They recently shifted to a newer and bigger spot, better tools and kitchen appliances, more manpower too. All in all, a bigger and better start you can say. Hence, things are looking alright alright alrighttt.
This plan of ours has been in the making for quite a while now. Some of us friends have been dying to meet up and try the food here. So, about 12 of us friends could finally manage a single time and date that we all could agree on.
Yet, some of these clowns surely were late, like REALLY late. Funny thing is, I live about 4 to 5 kilometers away in a different area and these fuckers live just a few minutes away from the restaurant's location. And even then, I was the first one present at the spot. They really need to get their shit together haha.
So, about an hour after I reached the place all of them slowly started popping up one by one. It surely had been a while since we've all last met. And everybody knows why that is, it's a no brainer at this point. However, so far, 2022 is looking quite promising and a bit "free" compared to 2020/2021.
We surely had a lot of catching up to do, lots to share, the good, the bad and the ugly. Even though we surely have been talking to each other every now and then on social media or on Discord.
Yet, those social media or Discord chats don't compare or even come close to a proper meet up and jam session like this. Luckily, we had quite the view, things were quiet and calm all around us, we were just lost living in the moment.
After quite the chat session, we all decided to order and try out some of the best selling pizzas. It was around 5PM and non of us had lunch that day I guess haha. We were famished and ready to conquer a few slices now. That is why we decided to go with the suggestions instead of browsing over the menu and being picky with the order and choices. Some of these buddies of mine surely can be quite picky when it comes to food, so thank God we didn't have to waste time on picking the food.
The restaurant also had different types of coffee and pasta as well, but for the day these pizzas would get the job done for sure. I surely do plan on visiting again soon, just to try some pasta and hopefully some good coffee.
Now, out of these four pizzas, including the one you see at the very top, the third and fourth were probably my favorites without a doubt. One was a BBQ flavor and another named with some kind of a Fiesta or something, I really can't remember hahaha. You guys will have to forgive for that.
Yet, I can assure you, all four of these pizzas were top notch. The most expensive one being around $9 dollars I think, the pizzas start around $5 dollars, around 400 taka that means, all 12 inch pizzas. Pastas were cheaper, around $3.
Yes, the prices do seem fairly cheap and fair, just like a lot of other joints. Yet, don't even compared these pizzas with the rest of the pizzas from other pizza places offering food around this price range. These were simply superior, I'm not even being biased, it's all facts. The price to taste and quality ratio, to the amount of food you get is just unbeatable.
If this joint provided home delivery around my area then I'd probably gain around 3 or 4 kgs in a matter of weeks. Yet, sadly and also quite gladly for me, I live quite far away from their home delivery range. So, getting fat will have to wait then haha.
All in all, starting from the food to meeting the buddies, every minute of the day was surely worth remembering. A perfect day for sure.
Can't wait to give this place another visit. Maybe try some other dishes and probably provide some updates here too. I surely suggest you guys to give their food a try, you won't regret it. Great food, proper bit of funky ambience, all in all a good experience and it won't even put much of a dent in your pockets haha.
