“If the plan doesn’t work, change the plan but never lose sight of the goal." - Unknown
These days sticking to a plan has become a matter of utmost importance; considering the number of daily tasks I have on my list, time management has become quite crucial. If I mess up one task or take up too much time with it, then that will affect the rest of my tasks, and leave me feeling down for the rest of the day.
So, nowadays I prefer making a quick cup of instant coffee at home at around 8 PM. That alone is enough to satiate my caffeine needs for now. Going to a nearby cafe takes up a lot of time, and then there's me who likes to take my time when at a cafe; indulging in a good cup of coffee, a nice smokey sandwich, and maybe some dessert. You just don't get these things at home.
Yet, I try my best not to go overboard so frequently. It's a different scenario when I'm out with friends though, my solo coffee adventures are currently put on hold.
However, the other day I had no choice but to grab lunch amid a huge crowd in Tabaq.
Fortunately, since it was an open restaurant it didn't feel so suffocating, and obviously, the food at Tabaq as always was worth every penny. Also, I got there right on time to secure a shared table in a corner. If I was about 10 minutes late, I'd have to take my food home; which wasn't possible then.
The main reason I was out at that time was to hand over a package and get a new SIM card. So, lunch would have to be taken care of then and there. I could've gone back home for lunch, but that'd have to wait, and I was just too hungry at that time.
So, I got out at around 1 PM to first pick up the package for delivery. Got the product in my hand, had it packed, and got ready for delivery.
Fortunately, the drop-off point wasn't too far away from the cafe. So, I headed towards the cafe, ordered, waited for my food, and got in contact with the deliveryman then and there. It would take him around 20 minutes to reach my destination. So, by then the food would be ready, and I could take my time with it too.
After I was done with my food, I grabbed my coffee and headed towards the deliveryman. Guided him a little on how to handle the package, where to deliver it, and when to deliver it, and he was on his way.

For my food, I went with the classic trio of the chicken tikka sandwich, fudge brownie, and nice cappuccino. You just can't go wrong with this combo; especially if it's Tabaq.
At that time the crowd there was crazy, people weren't even finding tables to sit at. Yet, somehow, I finished my meal quite peacefully. I guess it was the open space that should get all the credit. People were able to walk around and conversate as they waited. It's something you don't necessarily get in a close and air-conditioned restaurant.
Yet, I didn't sit around for long. Just as I finished my food, I took my coffee and headed towards the exit, I then stood there and finished my coffee. There's no point in keeping people standing for that long. So, I took my coffee and cleared up my space.
After I was done with my coffee I walked straight into the GP office and got my new e-sim card. Better late than never. My older SIM card has been acting up, so it became some sort of an emergency.
After all was taken care of, it was time to get back home.
All tasks were taken care of right on time, and then having lunch at Tabaq, nothing could have made the day better. I'll have to go back there again, hopefully when it's much calmer. So that I can sit there for a bit longer, and truly take my time to sip on some coffee while taking in the sights.
