This week, I have often spent my time in my uncle's village. There, I managed to meet many new friends who continue to give me experiences about differences that help us complement one another. However, it is quite unfortunate that the rainy season is currently underway, so there are so many fun activities that have to be postponed. Perhaps waiting for the rain to stop can also be quite boring, so making the most of the situation is the solution.
And these are my two new friends. Actually, I had already met them several times whenever I visited my uncle's village, but it was only this time that we became this close. The plan that day was actually to play football, but the rain ruined our plans, so all we could do at that moment was enjoy a warm cup of coffee while listening to the sound of raindrops falling on the roof of the hut.
While relaxing, we could also see some young children playing badminton. They were having so much fun playing in the rain, and their smiles and laughter were what truly made the atmosphere around us feel so peaceful and calming.
The rain continued to fall, but it was actually something the farmers in the rice fields had been hoping for, especially since it is currently the rice-planting season.
The natural atmosphere around this place was also incredibly peaceful, as it was still surrounded by many lush trees. There was even a fairly large oil palm plantation right beside the badminton court. The rain continued to fall, while the gentle breeze kept brushing against our bodies, creating such a cool and refreshing atmosphere.
Just as we were enjoying our time relaxing in the hut, I suddenly spotted a spider that seemed to be lost on the roof of the hut. I didn't know what this particular spider was actually doing there, but most likely, it was simply taking shelter from the heavy rain.
This was one of those moments filled with small and unexpected details. Finding this spider immediately gave me a new plan, which was to photograph it.
This is a web-building spider, but I myself cannot confirm which family this spider belongs to. The uniqueness of this spider can immediately be seen from its very striking colors, and if we look at it from a closer distance, we can see the natural markings and patterns on its abdomen, which resemble bird droppings.
I'm @riyat. See you again in my next post
