A few weeks ago, I received some information from a friend about several hidden tourist destinations in the Krueng Geukueh area of North Aceh. Although I was already aware of the place, I had never fully explored it. The area is home to many beautiful beach destinations that remain relatively hidden,and to reach them, we had to pass through village roads and narrow alleys. My curiosity eventually convinced me to visit them in person. I began this journey from the city of Bireuen, and the trip took about an hour. But this journey was never about the distance鈥攊t was about the satisfaction of discovering what lay behind my curiosity.
I began this journey at 7:00 am,and the weather was already quite hot. Before leaving Bireuen, we took some time to drive around the city while picking up breakfast supplies, including rice meals and some traditional cakes.
If I remember correctly, I arrived in the Krueng Geukueh area at around 9:00 am. Upon reaching the ticket counter, I took a moment to capture the beautiful view of the river estuary. The estuary was filled with many fishing boats anchored along the water, and the river also serves as a waterway for boats to enter and exit.
After purchasing the ticket, I immediately began exploring this beach tourist destination. It was my first time visiting the area, and as I walked along the way, I noticed many different tourist attractions scattered along the coastline.
Each tourist destination had its own unique character and charm. In fact, the scenery was not much different from the beaches I had visited in Bireuen,perhaps the biggest difference was simply the atmosphere. Since the weather was extremely hot that day, I needed to take a break,however I couldn't decide which beach destination to stop at, so I stayed focused on my main goal鈥攖o explore the entire area first before taking a rest.
One of the things that impressed me the most about this place was how exceptionally clean it was. Every tourist spot was also equipped with plenty of chairs and traditional huts, creating a natural and peaceful atmosphere that made the surroundings feel even more relaxing.
Around the area, I also came across several villas that appeared to have been newly built,this is certainly great news, as they provide accommodation for visitors traveling from far away. My interest in this place continued to grow, especially with discoveries like these. Perhaps I should come back another day and take the time to fully enjoy everything this destination has to offer.
I myself really enjoyed my trip this time, I started the trip in the morning and spent my time happily, and I decided to make the trip home in the afternoon. I also had time to capture the moment when I arrived in the city of Bireuen at exactly 06.00 pm, and this is the view of the city of Bireuen in the afternoon.
