I think many of us have used it as it developed, as it did seem amazing, and yes, there's many cool things it can do. I heard someone called it a Trojan Horse - that this beautiful gift hides something that can bring about the downfall of a civilization. That seemed apt. But people decrying it are Cassandras - seen as mad, unhinged. Time will tell. I read another AI expert say we were 100 times more under threat by AI than nuclear war. Now that's pretty sobering.
