With the difference in time zones and the torch being past to me whilst I was asleep (thanks @vincentnijman for setting my bed on fire - I was feeling pretty cold) I'm a bit worried I've been a bit slow passing the Hive Torch on, but I think I'm good. I'm more of a slow amble with pauses to take breath than a sprinter anyway. Running always hurt my boobs. @trucklife-family did try to wake me up with the torch, but I didn't stir - Vinnie threw it in my bed anyway.. :P

Hive might not be quite mooning yet - and I say yet because it undoubtedly WILL - but what absolutely moons every day on HIVE is generousity - of spirit, if not always extra crypto! And so I have always loved this HIVE TORCH idea, which has begun again on HIVE after a nudge and post from @stayoutoftherz here.

The basic premise:

Someone sends you a number of Hive to your wallet, and you transfer it as fast as possible to someone trustful who will be then the next Hivetorch keeper.

And when it hits 333 HIVE, the community decides where it goes, whether it goes to a HIVE project, a community, minnows - a poll will decide.

It's a brilliant example of together, we are stronger - and this is the HIVE spirit. We cheer each other up. We help each other with code, with community initiatives, with marketing on Twitter. We delegate to each other and join in challenges for the fun of it. We sent HIVE to those who might really, really need it when they're struggling. We lend an ear, and a kind word, a sense of humour.

And so yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm happy to fan the flames of the HIVE torch and send it on to @indigoocean - her content is always amazing and she's been on HIVE for a long time, quietly being awesome.

With Love,
