I've been having conversation with a few Hivers that have fallen prey of the censorship mafia and goons down voting every post they make. However, I think that the internet is bigger than the microuniverse, and there are ways to profit with your work. Here are some advice I give those people.
Promote your blog outside of Hive
Ask for donations withing Ecency
Show your altcoin address for independent donations
Sell something
Make yourself big on the web, not just Hive
So here are some of the things I have thought about the situation. No matter how big the bully is, there is always someone bigger. And there is always something else to give you a chance.
I recommend to ALWAYS republish your posts outside of Hive, whenever is on X or FB, or Instagram. Not the whole article of course, but a synopsis and the visual art of the article to be shown on your social network. Add your other crypto addresses that you own, including the top ones, like BTC, USDT, ETH, BNB, SOL, POL, LTC, BCH and XMR. Of course only if you are active on them.
Remember to add for donations, even write an article how you have fallen prey to these censorship agents and link back to that article. Make it part of your footnotes from your articles.
Is always good to sell something, so to show you are not only begging, a Book, a Comic Book, or a NFT are always great ways to show more about yourself and show that you are a real person, and not a bot. Make sure that they are part of your community and that you are active and reachable.
This goes with the previous post, as you want to be available not just on Hive, 3Speak, and other Hive properties, but maybe on other ecosystems like X, Instagram, or Web3 platforms like Odysee, Bitchute, or Read.cash on BCH. Or fediverse like Mastadon and other open source networks.
