Without further ado, let's get into the week in our gardens in March.

@attn is excitedly preparing for his new place but he still can proudly show off his small indoor garden. Just wait until the end of this post to find out what's happening next for him and gardening! Sooo exciting!

I must say a bonsai garden really impresses me. They take some tending but can be good therapy and have beautiful results. @sofs-su just does that.

@dodovietnam told us about a special ginseng and a beautiful ginseng garden he visited!

@blingit is really showing how an urban backyard in Queensland, Australia, can be turned into a food growing paradise. In this photo, curry leaves and turmeric.

Like many, this time of the year is actually about all the jobs you need to do to prepare the garden! @bigorna1 is olive pruning in Portugal, something I bet @traisto and @fotostef know all about over in Greece!! He's also getting into electroculture - be super keen to know how this goes!

@jhero22 has the most beautiful place to watch rice and vegetables grow! Cats, beans, eggplant - a garden full of life!

I couldn't resist sharing this photo - it really made me giggle. @jhero22 makes me smile with his garden posts all the time but this was extra funny.

@simplechalyn is having a happiness overload because they are harvesting plants from a school garden. Planting edible plants in schools is such a brilliant idea. STart them young!

Speaking of which, look at this gorgeous little gardener who belongs to @jenthoughts!

@gertu muses on how important gardening is to her life. After doctors appointments in the morning, she spends time in her garden, and can't imagine life without it. I bet many of you feel the same way. @andricklp also wrote about how important her garden is to her, and of planting aloe and sage and other plants to furnish her new land. @multifacetas is harvesting semerucos - do you know it? To me it looks like a kind of cherry.

Can you imagine planted around old lava flows? I think @tydynrain is our only Hawaiian gardener! I love the bright green ferns against the very dark soil.

Philosopher Prize 2 HIVE

This one rewards the really thoughtful musings about our gardens, going beyond the PRACTICAL reasons we grow. @simplechalyns wins this week for her thought about 'harvesting happiness'. I think most gardeners agree they're not just doing it because they need to, although that can be part of it, but that it brings happiness too.

Vegetable Garden Prize - 5 HIVE

@jhero22 this week. He's a consistant Hive Gardener that posts on Threads too, AND he's always so passionate and excited about gardening. It's always a pleasure to hear his thoughts on how beneficial gardening is for communities and health, and I appreciate his organic methods too.

A few recipients of the passion prize this week. I'm looking for those who can't live without gardening, and whose posts are full of the joy of it. Now that's most of you, so it's super hard to decide! This week it's @sofs-su, @bigorna1 and @gertu, and @tydynrain who all win 2 HIVE each.
