Love that first photo, and the thought of you guys cosy in the yurt. As I write it's 28 degrees here in Australia and it should be winter. Nice, but odd. Fried rice for breakfast, yummo. Especially with

NOOOOO it's still proper warm - it's 28 degrees today, and it's the 1st of May! It can happen, but it's virtually unheard of! Last time I remember it being this hot on May 1 my son was born, 29 years ago.

I have no issue with this. I don't care what others think of my home. It is my space. I don't think my wife has noticed them yet, despite going in and out of the kitchen several times. She is short, and

I still get really angry about that fact. I thought of you this morning when I saw a reel - I don't know whether you have seen the series where a guy interviews people on the subway for 'hot takes'? The

Imagine being decapitated going under a bridge. You'd feel like a right idjit. Love that prison! Monasteries are cool to stay in as well. Perfect opportunity to create a hotel.

I do think if you go into YOUR garden you can see gnomes through holey stones! Pipi are saltwater clams used for bait

Oh! I'll take a photo of my seaglass mobile and how they are attached. Over in Tassie there's this awesome beach with lots of old medicine bottles turned onto seaglass... It was an old tip for a marine

I knew someone would react to my science comment. I believe in real science. It doesn't mean it's something you can hold onto as true for all eternity - just until it's verifiable which obviously I won't

Enshittification! Awesome word.

Beautiful piece. I'm not that attached to objects either, though the 'whole' that makes up my home is lovely and I'm happy to live here forever. I think I've trained myself to not be attached, as we know

They are such beautiful fabrics - I always appreciate this Japanese craft!

It IS easy to remember life through rose tinted glasses, I concede. However, one thing that always makes me feel that it was better is that it was possible to find individual, creative stories and projects
