Beautiful piece. I'm not that attached to objects either, though the 'whole' that makes up my home is lovely and I'm happy to live here forever. I think I've trained myself to not be attached, as we know we can't take it with us when we die, and it causes us heartbreak! It's only one stolen thing that still hurts - a friend looked after our house and brought people ovr for a party. one stole a bracelet my grandmother gave me. it still breaks my heart, over and over. I never got it back and could also not tell my friend as i didn't realise til months later, and it just felt awful. I didn't want to upset her and I knew these people were in financial trouble, and I THOUGHT my worldly attachments were easy to deal with - nope, twenty years later it still fucking hurts.
