Oh no you feel like it's slavery?? I can understand why the winter is a relief then! I'm grateful I have a garden to happily serve, whatever the season.

RE: Lake Colac Botanical Garden

Enormous, but also I think it can also be clumsy and bulky or just like and elephant. Sometimes people describe hills as elephantine..

RE: A Sample From The Muse

RE: Lake Colac Botanical Garden

That sounds amazing. I do think they are a great place to visit in any city. You can escape but also people watch at the same time!

RE: Lake Colac Botanical Garden

Oh yeah but I still hate blackbirds... They are such bloody pests. They rip up all my seedlings. And the guy who originally imported them is long dead.

RE: We harvested some passion fruit despite having little water for irrigation, and we used the leaves to make an infusion.

I adore passionfruit, but the vines can take over and don't last long so I'm still not sure whether to plant one.

RE: Lake Colac Botanical Garden

Oh, so the tree is called a Bunya pine, but I described the trunk as elephantine, ie like an elephant 🐘🐘🐘 sorry for confusion!

RE: Pumpkins for food instead of decoration

I always thought it WILD that Americans just grew pumpkins for Halloween and competitions and not for eating! Here in Australia we've always had good cooking pumpkins, and they've always been in our dinners,

RE: SCIFIMULTIVERSE PROMPT WEEK 88 EDITION 2 |. THE PRESSURE TO LOOK SUCCESSFUL BEFORE YOU ARE.

I still think it's an absolute travesty that you pull people off chain and onto Discord. I'd love to write for this community, but there is no fucking way I'm going to Discord - what a waste of time.

RE: OLD BARN № 108

Gosh, that sounds like a family that wasn't meant to be here, if one thought about what might influence such things and why. When whole families are wiped out like this, it does make you wonder. Whenever

RE: Kevin: The story of a expat idiot

What a DICK, Kevin! Fancy splashing your wallet around like that. He seriously must have been insecure as well as stupid. And he was married? Poor woman.

Definitely look better in colour - you can't go past the splash of purple against the green. What a magical place!
