Hello to Pixelians and Earthlings alike. Features continue to roll out on the now live Rise of the Pixels game here on Hive. We'll quickly cover Seasons, Gadgets, and other updates.
Modelled after our Launch contests, Seasons are 10-day recurring events that track in-game actions and award points to Players. You can check your point total on the Leaderboard. After a 10-day period, an automatic raffle will happen, where 1 point = 1 raffle ticket.
🎟 Earning tickets is simple: just play the game! Specifically, we will award tickets as follows:
0.5 tickets for every 3 hours (max 4 tickets for a 24 hour game).0.5 tickets • Mark Two: 1.0 • Mark Three+: 2.00.5 tickets10 tickets5 tickets
🎁 Prizing will evolve as we test the system and get community feedback. For Season 1 (ending May 24, 2024 9:00 AM UTC), we will raffle off:
These new openable packs contain special accessories, RotP consumable items, as well as finite "reaction" objects.
Season 1 winners will be able to obtain these Gadget Cases but they will not be openable until we finalize the goodies they contain (we're actively working on it). As a teaser though:
