Hola a todos amigos de splinterlands! Hoy quiero mostrarles este dibujo que realic茅 como mi entrada para el concurso semanal de arte edici贸n #241. Esta vez escog铆 realizar un personaje que me sirviera de pr谩ctica para dibujar la anatom铆a humana ya que todav铆a sigo teniendo un poco de dificultad al momento de proyectarla, aun as铆 espero que les guste!
Hello to all my friends of splinterlands! Today I want to show y'all this drawing that I made as my entry for the Splinterlands's #241 Art Constest. This time, I chose to make a character that allowed me to practice to draw the human anatomy since I'm still getting some difficulties to potray It, even so I hope y'all like It.
馃摉 Resumen Historia de Personajes /// Character Story Summary
Para mi participaci贸n de esta semana escog铆 dibujar una carta de Fuego llamada "DJINN APPRENTICE" ya que en la imagen de origen que tom茅 como referencia lo v铆 como un personaje muy imponente.
For my entry of this week, I chose to draw a Fire type card called DJINN APPRENTICE because in the original image I saw this character with an imposing presence and apperance.

馃帹 Proceso de Dibujo /// Drawing Process
Para comenzar con este dibujo, realic茅 varios bosquejos con la pose seleccionada hasta quedar conforme ya que este boceto ser铆a la base del dibujo. Una vez hecho esto proced铆 a calcar en una hoja en limpio, con ayuda de un l谩piz 4H, para poder aplicar color en una hoja m谩s limpia.
For the first step, I made some sketches of the pose of the body until I got satisfied with the result, so I could use It as the base for my drawing. Then I proceeded to trace the sketch in a new paper sheet, using a 4H Pencil so I could start applying colors in a clean surface.
Como siguiente paso, comenc茅 a aplicar una capa suave de color naranja a lo largo de todo el cuerpo (en las zonas que corresponden, claro est谩). Luego apliqu茅 una capa suave de rojo amapola sobre el cuerpo.
As the next step, I started applying the orange color in almost all the body. Then I applied the color poppy red in the body.
Seguidamente apliqu茅 una capa de color rojo carm铆n con un poquito de fuerza para hacer una capa m谩s viva.
The following thing that I did was to apply a layer of carmine red with a little force to make a more vivid layer
El siguiente paso fue comenzar a aplicar capas mas fuertes de rojo carmes铆 y rojo amapola para dar mas uniformidad al color aplicado en el cuerpo y dar un tono m谩s brillante.
The next step was to start to apply stronger layers of crimson red and poppy red, to give more uniformity to the colors applied in the body and to give a brighter shade.
Luego, proced铆 a aplicar una capa de bermell贸n p谩lido sobre el cuerpo y con el rojo carmes铆 y rojo toscano comenc茅 a colorear las sombras en algunas zonas del cuerpo.
Then, I proceeded to apply a layer of pale vermilion over all the body, and with the carmine red and tuscan red I started to apply a bit of shadows in some parts of the body.
Para la parte de los brazaletes y accesorios que porta este personaje, apliqu茅 una primera capa suave de color amarillo ocre, seguido de algunas capas de naranja espa帽ol y vara de oro para dar una base mas uniforme y brillante.
When It comes to the bracelet and all of the jewelry that this character is using, I applied a first soft layer of yellow ochre, followed by some layers of spanish orange and goldenrod to give a brighter and uniform base.
Como toque final para los accesorios us茅 el color dorado met谩lico para aplicar algunas sombras, y el color verde esmeralda para la joya de la cabeza.
As a final touch for the accessories I used the metallic gold color to apply some shadows, and the emerald green color for the head jewel.
Una vez que el cuerpo estaba listo, proced铆 a aplicar color en la esfera de energ铆a que proviene de la mano izquierda de DJINN, para este elemento apliqu茅 varias capas de bermell贸n p谩lido, naranja espa帽ol, rojo amapola, rojo carm铆n y para detalles oscuros apliqu茅 el rojo carmes铆.
Once the body was ready, I proceeded to apply color to the sphere of energy that comes from DJINN's left hand, for this element I applied several layers of pale vermilion, Spanish orange, poppy red, carmine red and for dark details I applied the Crimson red.
En lo que respecta a la parte baja del cuerpo, apliqu茅 varias capas de colores azul ultramarino, azul violeta y violeta hasta alcanzar una capa conjunta y uniforme para luego usar el azul violeta para aplicar las sombras correspondientes.
As far as the lower body is concerned, I layered ultramarine blue, violet blue, and violet in several layers until I reached a cohesive and uniform layer, then used the violet blue to apply the corresponding shadows.
Finally, I proceeded to highlight the detail lines to give more of that sensation of volume in the drawing and accentuate the shadows.
