These photos that I share with you in this post are also from last weekend. I had already taken photos of this achiote plant but not with the macro lens, and because of the time of day the sun rays illuminated the plant so beautifully, I wanted to photograph it again.
The seeds seen in the photos are used to color foods red, it is very good for cooking stews. It does not add much flavor but it does add smell and color to the food. I also remember reading that it has therapeutic properties and many people use it to treat urinary conditions, but in this case, they use the leaf of this plant.

Bienvenidos a mi blog.
Estas fotos que comparto con vosotros en este post son también del fin de semana pasado. Ya había hecho fotos de esta planta de achiote pero no con el objetivo macro, y por la hora del día los rayos de sol iluminaban la planta de forma tan bonita, que quise volver a fotografiarla.
Las semillas que se ven en las fotos se utilizan para colorear los alimentos de rojo, es muy bueno para cocinar guisos. No aporta mucho sabor pero sí olor y color a la comida. También recuerdo haber leído que tiene propiedades terapéuticas y mucha gente la utiliza para tratar afecciones urinarias, pero en este caso, utilizan la hoja de esta planta.
