color is much less forgiving man. it;s harder to compose and to take in a color photo, especially if you're doing portraits, a slight mistake in skin tone may make you cringe at your own photo, in landscape

The first one is a bit busier because there are more elements visible; the clothes the decor etc. the second one seems to work better as a composition and would work as a page for a magazine. Of course
