I’m not from there, I’m American, living in Athens. Belgrade was incredible, I did a photo story for a magazine on the city.
Definitely going back. Hated to see all the damage our planes caused on the buildings and the people in 1999. Had a girl drive me around the bombed sites as she described the situation at the time and it brought shame and tears.
