Today I will share with you my feelings on the first day of IELTS exam. Actually the IELTS exam ended on 26th August but by chance the moments were not shared among you. Because I had to come home after the Isles exam and finish all the other work, there were other works in this case, so I didn't share it anymore. However, I thought I would share it with you. So today I came to share with you my first feeling and experience of giving IELTS exam.
First let me say that giving this exam was the best exam of my life. Because I have never given this exam before. I did IELTS class only for 18 days in a month and a half period, sometimes I also did spoken class. But I could not spend much time at home. Although I took up residence in Feni to avoid the hassle of coming and going from home. But at home there are the same activities. I used to finish the work somehow. But I spent almost two months like this.
After registration I got exam date 23rd and 26th of August. 23rd was speaking test and 26th was writing, reading and listening test. Anyway I will share with you the moment of 23rd August i.e. the day of my speaking test. On the morning of the 22nd we left for Chittagong. And after waking up in the morning of 23rd, I covered some preparation. Then I left the house around 11:20. Because you have to register there first, so you have to go in advance. After the first exit we took the location. Because we had never been there before, it would be difficult for us to recognize it, so we took the location from the map and left for Agrabad.
The British Council office was on the eighth floor of Rafiq Tower in Agrabad, and the speaking test was taken there. Anyway first going down we went to Rafiq Tower as per location. From there I went to the eighth floor. But there was a woman in front of the British Council and she said only I can go, not my husband. So he went back down from there. However, since it is a restricted area, check out is required. After checking out I went inside. After going there, I left my bag in the locker and took the key. Then after giving the photocopy of my passport to a sir, he entered the data. Then I was called to the registration room.
Took passport for registration, then took photo, took fingerprint. In this case, you have to give your fingerprint before the exam and you have to give your fingerprint after the exam. After completing the registration processing, I sat there and waited. My exam time was from 1 o'clock. But I already had some others, it takes time to take everyone's exam. That's why my exam started from 2 o'clock. What was the fear inside, there will be a speaking test on video call. Thinking about it, my heartbeat started to increase. How is it, how do I answer it? I had a very nervous moment with everything that day. And I was afraid that I was alone, because in taking the speaking test, one took it one by one.
My time was approaching. A teacher first went to the test room, then entered my name and called the candidate number. I also went, I was scared, I still feel scared haha. Anyway, sir first had a conversation with the test taker on the computer. Then asked me to check with headphones if everything is fine. The examiner seemed to be an Indian, Pakistani or Bengali. Then he introduced himself. Then my exam started. I thought that I should finish whatever he says. I am in danger if I finish as soon as possible. Cut, what is the situation. Anyway, part-1 went with the introduction. Now, part-2. Although that was a bit common for me. And in part-3 he keeps on asking question after question. I am thinking to myself what to do after knowing so much, hahaha. Anyway, it took a long time, the exam is over. I am happy in my heart, on top of what I said, just give me the band I need.
After that, I called sir again, I finished all the processing and gave the fingerprint again. Not saying a word here, every person in British Council is very sincere. I didn't get annoyed by any of their words. They are very helpful. The best exam in my life was IELTS exam, it I have to agree. After that, I went out with the bag from the locker again. Since I went to my uncle's house, I did some shopping and went home.
