Hubo un tiempo en mi provincia Pinar del Río, dónde la cultura de la guitarra en el parque cada madrugada casi se extinguió completamente con la llegada avanzada de la Wifi y con ellas las redes sociales, una forma fácil de hablar con las familias que habitan más allá de esta isla. El hecho que fueron tiempos muy oscuros para la guitarra y los trovadores desafinados.

Los rockeros, frikis, patinetas, bicicletas tuvieron también que buscarse un nuevo espacio. La marcada emigración de los artistas a otras provincias y países con mayor posibilidades, el suicidio de estos mismos trovadores por infartos económico y arte no remunerado, la creciente cultura del repartero, todo eso de alguna forma contribuyó a qué la música nacida desde el vientre de la guitarra fuera decayendo cada vez más.

En medio de todos estos procesos toca nuestra puerta la COVID, enfermedad que hizo que cada cual se quedará en su casa y nuevas costumbres afloraron en el día a día, las malas noticias mataron aún más la inspiración y la perdida irrefutable de familiares y amigos acechaba a cada paso. Por suerte paso está etapa dejando muchas enseñanzas para la humanidad que sobrevivimos, que aunque sobrevivimos nunca volvimos a ser los mismos.

In the midst of all these processes COVID knocked on our door, a disease that made everyone stay at home and new habits surfaced in the day to day, bad news killed even more inspiration and the irrefutable loss of family and friends lurked at every step. Fortunately this stage passed leaving many lessons for the humanity that survived, although we survived we were never the same again.
Cómo en Atenas tuvo su siglo de las luces durante el gobierno de Pericles hace ya varios millones de años, aquí en mi pueblito, en mi Pinar, nace un nuevo espacio para la creación artística, un espacio que tuve la dicha de fundar en abril del 2022, este lugar tiene por nombre Café Shop Jaracho. Este pequeño rincón tiene como esencia ayudar a todo aquel creador que vive del arte, adornando su grandeza en postres y cafés única.

As Athens had its century of lights during the rule of Pericles several million years ago, here in my little town, in my Pinar, a new space for artistic creation is born, a space that I had the joy of founding in April 2022, this place is called Café Shop Jaracho. This little corner has as its essence to help all those creators who live by art, adorning its greatness in desserts and unique coffees.
Gracias a este lugar, se han podido vivir exposiciones de pintura, conciertos de artistas nacionales y de nuestra provincia, allí ha crecido el amor y la amistad, se ha cantado, se ha reído en cada poesía y sobre todo se le ha dado espacio a aquellos artistas pinareños como yo que solo habíamos cantado en la ducha de nuestra casa y que ahora gracias a nuestros resultados y aceptación en este pequeño lugar, ahora vivimos para llevar nuestro arte a otras partes del mundo.

Thanks to this place, we have been able to live painting exhibitions, concerts of national artists and of our province, love and friendship have grown there, we have sung, we have laughed at every poem and above all we have given space to those artists from Pinar del Río like me who had only sung in the shower of our house and now thanks to our results and acceptance in this small place, now we live to take our art to other parts of the world.
Jaracho, lugar artesanal, decorado por el artista plástico Edisbel Guerra Mesa, dónde la esencia es que te sientas como en la sala de tu casa, dónde cada adorno tiene una explicación, dónde la música de fondo será tan tenue que solo tendrás sentidos para escuchar, lugar perfecto para crear o leerte un libro, un sitio donde mi siento en casa y aunque estoy lejos ya de mi provincia a menudo regreso una vez al mes a cantar a los que ocupan las mesas de este lugar, porque es cierto eso que dicen que uno en muchas ocasiones regresa a dónde fue feliz. ¿Qué donde queda este lugar? En la calle San Juan, frente a la tienda, la mariposa.

Jaracho, handcrafted place, decorated by the plastic artist Edisbel Guerra Mesa, where the essence is that you feel like in the living room of your house, where each ornament has an explanation, where the background music will be so faint that you will only have senses to listen, perfect place to create or read a book, a place where I feel at home and although I am far away from my province I often return once a month to sing to those who occupy the tables of this place, because it is true what they say that one often returns to where he was happy. Agradecido con Fran y todo el equipo tan profesional que trabaja veinticuatro horas por aportar tanto a esta cultura pinareña, por dar espacio a un arte que a diario le cerraron las puertas y que ahora sueña con seguir haciendo arte. Pinar del Río te debe mucho por el simple hecho de tener un lugar que rompe las costumbres de Reguetón, luces y moda cada vez más desgastada por las nuevas tendencias y acá en el Jaracho, acá puedes reír sin pensar en el maquillaje, acá se rescata las buenas costumbres y gustos estéticos y eso solo se logra cuando se está convencido de la grandeza del arte, del buen arte.
