El caos creativo en un huecorelieve(es/en)

Hola a todos en esta comunidad, la cual tiene como propósito promover y apoyar el arte.

Algunos pensarán que de alguna manera estoy comprometido con "EL Ojo del Ciclón", el proyecto comunitario ubicado en la esquina de las calles O'Reilly y Villegas en La Habana Vieja, en la capital cubana. Pero si estoy comprometido con algo, es con dar a conocer las maravillas de un lugar que realmente marca la diferencia en muchos sentidos en relación con otros espacios donde se esgrime el propósito de interactuar con la comunidad.

Cada vez que visito el "Ojo del Ciclón", que comenzó allá por la década de los noventa como un espacio en ruinas donde un joven artista plantó su caballete y unas cuantas herramientas para trabajar la escultura, siembra la semilla de lo que hoy es una de las experiencias más vitales de lo que es un proyecto cultural en y para la comunidad. Me toca la fibra de la inspiración todo lo que hay de arte y cultura.

El lugar es un muestrario vivo de la evolución de la obra y el pensamiento estético de Leo D'Lazaro, el artista y gestor del proyecto. Allí, en una organización aparentemente caótica, están todas sus etapas y modos de hacer arte.
Pero Leo es eminentemente escultor en el sentido más amplio de la definición, pues va desde la forma más clásica hasta la más contemporánea y esnobista, incluyendo el uso de los materiales para ejecutar las obras.

Pero la expresión de D'lazaro no se queda solo en el interior del local; sino que va integrando el exterior con el ritmo propio de la expansión. En ese sentido, en la esquina opuesta al local del proyecto, hay un ejemplo latente del poder creativo del artista, pues en el mismo filo en que se unen las dos paredes del edificio de dos plantas ha ejecutado una bella y atrevida obra escultórica.

Lo de atrevida queda muy claro y golpea la vista, pues el creador ha hecho un nicho de borde y profundidad irregular allí donde se supone que arquitectónicamente hay un punto de tensión o de descarga de peso del edificio. Y en el interior de esa oquedad fue adicionando

de forma caótica figuras de personas modeladas con sus propias manos junto a otros objetos. La obra es impresionante, pues al final la obra es un hueco relieve profundo con una belleza excepcional, ya que los contrastes de luces y sombras son modificados según la hora del día y la posición del astro rey en el espacio sideral.

Otra cuestión a destacar en este tipo de trabajo de Leo D'Lazaro para insertar su obra en el espacio natural comunitario es totalmente altruista.

Ahora mismo, todo lo que él y sus colaboradores hacen en el exterior del proyecto es propiedad de los vecinos del entorno y de los transeúntes que pasen cotidiana o eventualmente por el sitio.

Para mí, este tipo de huecorelieve que magistralmente Leo ha realizado en una esquina de la calle O'Relli y Villegas en La Habana Vieja, retando el peso de la masa y la gravedad, es una de las propuestas estéticas más dignas de promover, pues es arte sincero, inspirado y verdaderamente comunitario.

Hay entonces que agradecer al Maestro D'Lázaro por esta y todas sus creaciones que ya firman parte de la historia artística de la ciudad.

Hello everyone in this community, which aims to promote and support art.

Some will think that I am somehow committed to "EL Ojo del Ciclón", the community project located on the corner of O'Reilly and Villegas streets in Old Havana, in the Cuban capital. But if I am committed to something, it is to make known the wonders of a place that really makes a difference in many ways in relation to other spaces where the purpose of interacting with the community is used.

Every time I visit the "Ojo del Ciclón", which began back in the nineties as a space in ruins where a young artist planted his easel and a few tools to work on sculpture, it sows the seed of what today is one of the most vital experiences of what a project is. cultural in and for the community. Everything about art and culture touches my fiber of inspiration.

The place is a living sample of the evolution of the work and aesthetic thinking of Leo D'Lazaro, the artist and manager of the project. There, in an apparently chaotic organization, are all his stages and ways of making art.
But Leo is eminently a sculptor in the broadest sense of the definition, since he goes from the most classical form to the most contemporary and snobbish, including the use of materials to execute the works.

But D'lazaro's expression does not remain only inside the premises; but rather it integrates the exterior with the rhythm of expansion. In that sense, in the opposite corner of the project premises, there is a latent example of the creative power of the artist, because on the same edge where the two walls of the two-story building meet, he has executed a beautiful and daring sculptural work.

The bold thing is very clear and strikes the eye, since the creator has made a niche with an irregular edge and depth where there is supposed to be an architectural point of tension or weight discharge of the building. And inside that cavity he chaotically added figures of people modeled with his own hands along with other objects. The work is impressive, because in the end the work is a deep hollow relief with exceptional beauty, since the contrasts of lights and shadows are modified according to the time of day and the position of the sun in outer space.

Another issue to highlight in this type of work by Leo D'Lazaro to insert his work in the community natural space is totally altruistic.

Right now, everything he and his collaborators do outside the project is the property of the surrounding residents and the passersby who pass by the site daily or occasionally.

For me, this type of hollow relief that Leo has masterfully made on a corner of O'Relli and Villegas streets in Old Havana, challenging the weight of mass and gravity, is one of the most worthy aesthetic proposals to promote, since it is sincere, inspired and truly community art.
