Most colleges and professors seem to lean more towards the left. Even as far as a radical liberal ideology. In many cases freedom of speech is suppressed and children's minds are being indoctrinated. They are taught American is bad and everything that represents it. Hating and burning the flag, violence and destruction to suppress free speech are some examples. It does exist on both sides but its done by the left quite a bit more.
