I continued my brutal duel against Thor, using stone pillars, heavy axe strikes, and Spartan Rage to counter Mjölnir. After Thor killed and forcefully revived Kratos to keep fighting, we clashed mid-air and locked our weapons in frozen thunder, Kratos even said bitter words about Thor's fallen son, Modi.
Determined to gain the upper hand, I decided it was time to unleash some special attacks on Thor. Spotting a heavy stone pillar nearby, I smashed it down and swung the massive chunk of masonry straight into him.
Following up immediately, I did a heavy axe attack toward his chest; though he managed to dodge the direct blow, the sheer force of the Leviathan Axe still dealt splash damage to his health bar.
Thor then resorted to his dirty tricks, hurling Mjölnir directly toward Kratos that he barely managed to dodge, steering the hammer's return path off to the side. But Thor refused to slow down, pressing me relentlessly with every thunderous strike in his arsenal.
Both Kratos and Thor were pushing ourselves to the absolute limit just to hold the line.
During the chaotic clash, Thor delivered a crushing blow that actually knocked Kratos completely unconscious.
Instead of ending the battle, Thor used Mjölnir to shock Kratos back to life, coldly stating that he decides when the fight is done and refusing to let Kratos die in peace until he saw his true, ruthless nature.
As soon as Kratos stood back up, Thor threw Mjölnir again, but I dodged the incoming projectile and closed the distance, landing a devastating blow with the Leviathan Axe.
Made by Brok and Sindri, the exact same blacksmiths who forged Mjölnir, my axe proved every bit as powerful as his legendary hammer.
Yet every time Thor found an opening, he grappled Kratos, eager to drag the fight into the sky. Grappling Kratos by the armor, he launched us into the air before slamming Kratos back down into the frozen ground.
Recovering from the impact, both combatants hurled their weapons simultaneously, causing the Leviathan Axe and Mjölnir to collide mid-air in a blinding explosion of frost and lightning that froze the energy in place like a giant, glowing tree of thunder.
Kratos taunted Thor by bringing up Modi, reminding him that his son died from the brutal beating Thor himself had inflicted on him. Hearing this, Thor laughed out loud, unbothered by the mention of his late son, and launched back into the offensive.
He mocked Kratos, claiming he was still holding back and demanding to see the true nature of Kratos.
I gave him exactly what he asked for, activating Spartan Rage to unleash a barrage of unstoppable, fiery strikes.
However, every time I built up momentum and took control of the fight, the game transitioned into a cinematic sequence where Thor magically regained the upper hand, a mechanic that felt completely unfair after beating him down so thoroughly.
