SAN BUENAVENTURA, the latest news Usually, if there are regional leaders who are considered not working well, do not expect people will again choose it.

However, in San Buenaventura, a small town in northern Bolivia, its people impose a punishment called "social justice".

Oddity Central reported Tuesday (6/3/2018), residents locked their mayor, Javier Delgado, as a sign that they are not satisfied with its performance.

Delgado recalled, on February 25, he originally came to inaugurate a bridge built using his people's taxes.
However, when he arrived at the site, he was greeted by a resident who did not intend to attend the inauguration.
Delgado was then captured, and his legs were immediately placed in an infant for an hour surrounded by angry citizens.

Daniel Salvador, a resident of San Buenaventura said, Delgado was punished for not fulfilling his promise and lying.

"In addition, he also did not listen to the requests of citizens who want the audience," said Salvador told Radio Fides.

Delgado tried to face the people calmly. Therefore, the slightest resistance action can further heat up the situation.

"After I was given the opportunity to explain, the people apologized to me after they were deceived by 'this man'," Delgado told La Razon.

This "man" referred to by Delgado is his political enemy from local businessmen. They tried to thwart the bridge that required the two-year development period.

Delgado claimed that the citizen was in the hands of a river transport businessman, or logging whose interests had been affected by the policies he had made.

This was a penalty placed in the third batch that Delgado had received for his 2.5 years in office.

The first happened when he was only a few months in office. While the second is done by citizens who control his office.

"I'm a handful of people who have experienced this traditional punishment, and honestly, I do not know why it is treated," Delgado said.

People in San Buenaventura use "social justice" if their leaders violate any of the three basic principles.

Ama Qhuilla, Ama Illulla, and Ama Suwa (Do not be lazy, do not lie, and do not become thieves).

The use of the stock as social justice was included in the state constitution in 2009. However, citizens may use it only for small cases.

For large cases, citizens must keep it to the police and court institutions.
