Why is the call to prayer aloud? Use the speakers anyway. Does not bother others who are not Muslims?
There is an interesting story that a friend told through the chat apps in the WhatsApp group. Here's the story.
My friend, who happens to be a non-Muslim, asked me, "Why should the adzan be sounded aloud with speakers anyway?".
I am not a religious scholar then think for a moment looking for an easily digestible answer, answering like this "Bro, it is a call prayer, surely dong name call is not possible in the same way as talking or whispering".
My friend replied "But it's around people not all Muslims?".
I replied again "Right. Bro, we are now at the airport, hear the airport announcement always give the boarding call? Did you also ask them why they were calling airplane boarding loudly instead of calling your plane? "
He smiled but replied again "But it's gini day everyone knows what time technology what time prayers, what still must adzan out loud?".
I also answered "Yes every passenger also already know the flight schedule since the message and hold the ticket, then check-in, has printed his departure schedule on the boarding pass, has entered the waiting room, but still the airport do not call boarding?
And there is one more thing why the call to prayer should be echoed, it is not just a marker already entering the time of prayer but really call prayer, because we have to hasten the prayer.
Likewise all passengers must hasten the plane after the boarding call, although there is still time to board the plane until the aircraft closes the door ".
This time his smile grew wider, then he half hugged me while patting my shoulder and saying "Super .. I got it bro"
