they keep releasing more as if that were the best thing ever

That...I don't understand why keep on doing that. There are a ton of nice source materials or manga waiting to be adapted out there, but they just keep on choosing the most generic ones to adapt. Like if not for their mostly super long titles, I can't classify them from their eerily similar fellow anime. I don't know why other viewers hate its first episode because for me it's basically the one that convinced me to watch this whole series. The fact that she's not reborn into royalty or an invincible lowkey mage/warrior already piques my interest. The fact that she wasn't just some kind of random person in her past life and also that she gets to use her abilities in her new life were already good signs for me.

I haven't really tried Re:Zero yet...because unfortunately I get to try the isekai that left a bad impression on me first. It isn't often I try isekai because I always have that reservation, so if it doesn't have comedy or fluff, then I'm out.
