I'm going to get this out of the way: I am not a big fan of this album. Not only was it an utterly disappointing followup to "Merriweather Post Pavilion," but I first heard it during the midst of a very rough period in my life, so I tend to associate it with those moods. However, I pre-ordered it (I have since learned my lesson) so I somewhat unfortunately became an owner of this record. There are some great songs on this record, but it's just not enough to make me a fan of the whole thing. I think this may be my least favorite record that I own, so I'm still not totally sure why I own it. Maybe I'll come around to love it some day. If you're a fan of this record, maybe you can change my mind and convince me to give it another shot.
Recommended tracks: "Rosie Oh," "New Town Burnout," "Pulleys." Or just listen to all of "Merriweather Post Pavilion" if you want to give this band a listen.
Some reeeeeeeal ugly album art. Believe it or not, this is an improvement over the original design (but not by much).
Standard black vinyl. I didn't realize my hideous feet were in frame, but we'll all just have to accept it.
(Un)fortunately, there was no download code with this record, but maybe there will be for the next one?
