I think someone has to pay your bills, If it's not you them others maybe your closer relatives, that means that if you aren't self sufficient you'll became a economical weight for somebody, establishing a way of living around what you like from early years would make easier to stay close to your passion, if is'nt the case them you must save as much energy as you can on your free time to enjoy whatever drive you in, while you keep working on your current job, I think few things can compete with the relax state of mind due knowing you don't depend on no-one to live.
