It's Christmas time, a time to be thankful for all of what we have. To me, it's about Midnight Mass at Immaculate Conception with my friend Father John and watching my grandkids open presents on Christmas morning. There are a few other things I'm thankful for as well and I wanted to share them...
First of all, I'm thankful to be on Steemit this year- last year I misplaced my password and got locked out of my account for three weeks while account recovery was being fixed.
I'm particularly thankful to be a part of the wonderful Steemit community... What a great bunch of people... a place to be able to express yourself without fear of censorship and get paid for it too- Like Yakov Smirnoff said- "What a country"! Steemit has made it possible for me to get presents for my grandchildren (and great grandchildren) for the first time since I got sick in 2014... THANK YOU!!!!!
I'm thankful for the wonderful @protectfamilies community who fight hard on behalf of families everywhere (don't forget to support them- it's Christmas) I usually post about attacks on families, but it's Christmas- a time of glad tidings so for the
@familyprotection homeschoolers in America- here's a little Christmas cheer on behalf of Sen. Ted Cruz... the Democrats tried to take homeschoolers out of the education exemption in the new tax-cut bill and he saved it...
And last, but certainly not least... I'm really, really, really thankful that Hillary Clinton isn't my president!
