Well, its been a while since I last posted.. things have been busy.... too busy... If its not been work, its been life and thats thrown me a massive massive curve ball, with my partner leaving me..
So yeah... I've been a mess.. Before the split I was bad, and then obviously the Split didn't help.. But it has given me a big kick up the arse to get myself sorted... but physically and mentally...
Anyway, enough of that... I've still been getting the camera out a bit where I can, although a mix of work, winter and mental heath has both hit my confidence and willingness to go out.
However, here's a few from a little shoot with a new model close to me - Livia, and MUA Bionda teaming up for a few hours..
Having a MUA on hand really makes such a difference to the end product I'm finding. As well as Adobe's updates helping my editing and workflow a great deal.. I don't understand people that dont find the creative cloud either useful or value for money - if you don't please tell me why and change my mind..
the focus was on the hands for the above shot... doesnt show that well in mono, but her hands were painted (messily) in gold.... In mono it just looks a bit dirty ;-)
I like to have a bit of fun on shoots, its a hobby and a release of the daily grind for me, so it's always good to try and convey that over to the model as well...
A chilled shoot makes for a good shoot and I think it shows in the images..
While I was setting up, I asked the studio owner to just jump into the frame while I was getting the lights sorted as Liv was being made up..
