Withdean Park in Brighton covers about 40 acres of land to the city's north. One of the "advantages" of Long-COVID and Fatigue is the need to take things slowly. So join me for a walk through the park this summer evening.

The park is known for several things, from its collection of Lilacs and fenced-off area for dog walkers; there were undoubtedly a lot of dogs about!

Along the North and East edges of the park, there are a series of trails through the thin strip of woodland, making a pleasant break from the sun.

The park feels like a meadow, with wide spaces with large trees dotting the landscape.

Given the fatigue, there was plenty of time to stop and look at the flowers, leaves and trees:

Walking back through the woodland to the car, the sun was creating patterns in the canopy; there was even a dire warning about falling branches in high winds - something to bear in mind!

I enjoyed this walk despite it being hard on me and paying for it this morning as I uploaded the photos.
