I've purchased a few things from Beatport, usually techno remixes, and I love bandcamp. Good way to support smaller / indie artists. And yeah, I know I'm from a different time. My daughters are both happy to listen to Pandora or the radio or even YouTube playlists. They are happy to EXPERIENCE the music without feeling the need to OWN it. Though we all love music!
