[Ballpoint pen on notebook page with digital embellishments and color.] A lot of people doodle (perhaps while they're on the phone) or make quick jokes to their loved ones as they pass or sing while pouring their coffee... Life is FULL of these simple, often forgotten, moments of ART. I'm a believer in the concept that these moments, these quite explosions of personality, are what make living worthwhile - but most of these gestures are LOST. Forgotten or performed without any documentation. It's a damn shame, is what it is... (Record skips.)
A lot of people would probably look at my cryptoart galleries or blogs or journals and think, "What the HELL is with all this junk??? This isn't ART; it's just garbage." Sure, except, I disagree. Most of what I post (and put up for sale) IS throwaway moments: to do lists, simple doodles, freewrites with misspelled words, sketches made on my phone in a matter of minutes... BUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GARBAGE and MY GARBAGE is the INTENTION! I am collecting, documenting, augmenting, and distributing my simple, throwaway gestures - WHICH MAKES THEM ART! (GOOD OR BAD ART is an irrelevant distinction, as I'm lucky enough to not NEED the income from my artwork sales to survive. It HELPS, but it's not essential for us to eat and have a place to sleep... ULTIMATE VALUES.)
By the GODS, all this JUNK DOES HAVE A POINT! ARCHIVE FEVER!!! When a life ends, most people only leave behind memories and some purchased possessions. I'm leaving behind an entire GALAXY of weird, unlost, scattered, colorful (and black and white), winsome, whiny, poorly planned, quickly constructed, exuberant, errata that many folks (whether they KNOW ME or MET ME or HATE ME or [the worst] are COMPLETELY INDIFFERENT TO ME) will be able to see and interact with. My BAD JOKES have a chance to live on, even after the Fool falls... To me, that's worth the 20 or 30 cents (USD) worth of TEZOS it takes to publish all of this STUFF. Whether it SELLS or NOT, it's still out there... Waiting... Watching... Wondering... and (if any ABSORBTION BASED A.I. ever exists) waiting to live again in some newly constructed electronic form... Perhaps...

Later... Now, we are in the outdoors, hanging in the backyard. Felicity is drawn to the GROSS... Old pools of water, mud, scuzzy toys... I can't stop her... Two minutes outside and she had already kicked her boots off.
But it's supposed to rain for the next week [we live in Washington State], so we have to hang out here today - or we'll be out of luck...

Naked, crusty Barbies are having a heck of a time in their beaten up, should-be-condemned DREAM HOUSE... Felicity narrating the whole affair...
