Romans 13: 11-14
11 And this, knowing the time, which is now time to get up from sleep; because now our salvation is closer to us than when we believed.
12 The night is advanced, and the day is approaching. Let us therefore cast away the works of darkness, and put on the weapons of light.
13 We walk as day, honestly; not in gluttonies and drunkenness, not in lust and lewdness, not in strife and envy,
14 but put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not provide for the desires of the flesh.

Many Christians today are spiritually asleep, so the apostle Paul insists that in knowing time we Christians should insist on keeping a high moral standard of conduct in order to be firm in our salvation since it is closer than we believe.
It is time to submit our will to the will of God in order to put on the Lord Jesus Christ to accept and keep his commandments as biblical principles to advance and depend solely and exclusively on his strength and practice the fruits of the spirit.
It is not the time to live for the delights or the things that the flesh has complacency. It is time to surrender to God and seek his face to clothe ourselves with light to live all the time as if it were daytime and to discard all work of darkness which has no part. With God.
If we are Christians, let us practice the things of the spirit and discard all impiety and impurity that do not come from God but from the prince of darkness, let us walk as wise and not as fools.
The Bible says that he who knows how to do good and does not do it is a sin.
James 4:17
17 And to him who knows how to do good, and does not do it, it is a sin.

I firmly believe that we have the word that we have been given by grace, therefore we know how to do the good, the pure, what God likes, therefore, not to do it is a sin.
God knows our hearts and knows our intentions also knows what we do and how far our knowledge goes.
