"Have you ever seen a sunrise of fire?

Cecilia looked at her boyfriend amused, he always had something crazy to say.

Teodoro looked at the sky without letting go of his partner's hand.

"No, I've never seen a fiery sunrise, honey," she also looked at the clear sky.

They were both alone in a field full of pine trees, but in the distance on that hill, they could see the city. The scent of freshness and warmth enveloped the two young lovers.

"You should see it, it takes your breath away and you don't want to stop watching. When you see it, you see yourself wrapped in its beauty and radiance."

And there remained the theme of the dawning of the fire.

Years went by and Cecilia began to wonder what a fire dawn would be like. Every time her boyfriend came back from sailing and they sat together to contemplate the horizon, she would ask him the question.

"What is a fiery sunrise like?

Theodore would laugh and look at her.

"It's something I've rarely seen, but a fiery sunrise is indescribable."

"So it's a sunrise that only happens when you go sailing," Cecilia tried to cuddle him so that he would tell her.

But he always got out of the question.

"A sunrise of fire instills courage, increases the motivation to follow the day's routine, and enhances the goodwill of those who observe it."

The woman's doubt grew. She wanted to see that fiery sunrise.

"Is there such a thing as a fiery sunset," she asked later.

"You still want to know what a fiery sunrise is," she said, smiling.

"Of course, you don't tell me what it is and I want to know. I'm sure it's a merchant marine thing. You watch, live, and have your adventures on the high seas. The dawn of fire must have a dusk of fire" When she finished speaking she looked at her husband defiantly waiting for him to tell her.

By this time they were husband and wife. They had been married for two years and she was expecting a baby. His name would be Sinbad, and anyone who knows stories will know why. Cecilia arranged it like this.

"Well, there are really good sunsets that could be considered fire sunsets, but it's not the same thing, and that's because the sunset goes out it dies out and that fire doesn't last long enough to give motivation. While the sunrise of fire revives the soul of the beholder, it makes the internal flame of the observer grow."

Cecilia had Sinbad, but it did not end there she had Polaris and Orion. They grew up and had their children, but she still did not know what the dawn of fire was.

At that time her husband Theodore the high captain became seriously ill. The fortune they had tamed served to cure him, so he had few days left to live. They had lived a full life and enjoyed it. Cecilia recalled that they had met when he was the third mate and now so old he was a renowned seaman, a captain.

"Cecilia, come closer my love," asked Teodoro coughing.

Cecilia was nervous and distressed, she did not want to see her soul mate leave.

"Do you remember the dawn of fire," he kept smiling despite the pain spreading throughout his system.

"Yes, I hate you," she said jokingly. "You never told me it was the dawn of fire, you never showed me a picture, nothing."

Theodore laughed with complicity and looked at his eldest son Sinbad.

"Tell him, my son, that I no longer have the strength to speak."

Sinbad took a step forward like a merchant seaman and spoke.

"Mother, the sunrise of fire was the nickname I used to call you on the high seas. No officer or sailor did not know it was your dawn of fire."

Teodoro trembling showed a hidden letter he had written many years ago.

Cecilia held it and read it with tears.

And what a sunrise it is!
Something beautiful and pristine
That reminds me of you
The dawn of fire is luminous
It's something beautiful that sustains me
I gaze upon it every morning
You are my dawn of fire
You come to my mind
To give me the strength to endure the day
Neither salt nor storms will extinguish the flame
Neither the hard sun nor the intensity of the work
Will steal the living flame
That the dawn of fire influences me.

That same day Teodoro passed away. From that day on, her husband became her dawn of fire that lasted in the memory of the family until the youngest ones.
